The customer specifically requested the machine to be of an open type, as it will feed the roll directly without unwinding. For this company, we made a revision at HAWK and we took everything aside of the machine particularly the electric panel at the back of it so that the company can put its own roll opening device and feed continuously. There are many benefits of this system, for instance, prevents wastage due to the most correctly use of sheet metal, efficient work environment, a lower cost per part, and lower manpower. The cutting head of the machine was Precitec Light Cutter Auto Focus Cutting Head.
