EVO-IV SERVO HYBRID PRESS BRAKE

Less energy, less oil, lower operating costs

EVO-IV Servo Hybrid is a next-generation press brake that combines 100% servo motor technology with an SPVM/SPLM-based closed-loop hydraulic system. Developed to reduce the operating burden of conventional hydraulic press brakes, EVO-IV stands out with energy efficiency potential, reduced maintenance effort, and quieter operation.

Full control through servo motor technology All axis movements — including the main motor and backgauge motors — are managed by servo motor technology. This architecture enables real-time optimization of speed and force to match each workpiece. The 200 – 10 – 190 mm/s speed cycle supports both high productivity and precise bending control.

Closed-loop hydraulic system, clean and compact by design The SPVM/SPLM-based closed-loop hydraulic system integrates the motor, pump, filter, and main block into a unified assembly. A cleaner internal layout simplifies maintenance access, while fewer components reduce potential failure points.

Lower energy demand and reduced oil volume Depending on the operating profile, EVO-IV Servo Hybrid delivers up to ~65% energy saving potential (benchmark). Because hydraulic power is supplied only when needed, the system avoids continuous pump operation typical of conventional hydraulics. A reduced oil tank volume (130 L) supports easier oil consumption and lower operating expenditure.

Quieter, more comfortable shop-floor operation Servo hybrid technology reduces continuous pump noise associated with traditional hydraulic systems. Noise reduction of up to ~15 dB can be targeted under comparative conditions

Wide configuration range In addition to the standard working length and capacity range of 1.27–6.1 m and 40–600 tons, the EVO-IV Servo Hybrid is also available in larger lengths and capacities on request, offering a broad configuration spectrum for sheet metal processing, general fabrication, and high-volume production.

CLOSED-LOOP HYDRAULIC SYSTEM

Built on SPLM press control system, the closed-loop hydraulic circuit integrates the motor, pump, filter, and main block into a single unified assembly. The clean, compact internal layout simplifies maintenance access and supports long-term system reliability.

UP TO 15 DB NOISE
REDUCTION

Servo hybrid technology eliminates the continuous pump noise inherent to conventional hydraulic systems. Under comparative conditions, the EVO-IV Servo Hybrid achieves up to 15 dB noise reduction — delivering a quieter, more comfortable production environment.

100% SERVO MOTOR

All axis movements — including the main motor and backgauge motors — are managed by full servo motor technology. This enables real-time optimization of speed and force for each workpiece, supporting high repeatability and precise bending control throughout the production cycle.

LOWER MAINTENANCE COST

The integrated system design reduces internal complexity, minimizes potential failure points, and speeds up service interventions. Fewer components in a unified assembly means lower maintenance expenditure and higher machine availability.

UP TO 65%
ENERGY SAVINGS

The EVO-IV Servo Hybrid delivers up to 65% savings in energy consumption compared to conventional hydraulic press brakes — measured on a 230-ton press brake over 870 cycles in an 8-hour production run.

APPROX. 60% LESS OIL CONSUMPTION

The closed-loop hydraulic circuit requires approximately 60% less hydraulic oil compared to conventional hydraulic press brakes — a measurable gain for both environmental sustainability and ongoing operating costs.
